Stans, 5th July 2010 - mondoBIOTECH is approaching the 10th anniversary since its inception and the Company has proved that pure laboratory research is not the only method that allows the discovery of cures for diseases. In todays’ world of segmented know-how and distributed communities of scientists, physicians, patients and others involved in the field, the Search&Match approach that it is at the base of the mondoBIOTECH model is providing a fantastic tool for identifying cures and viable treatments for rare diseases. mondoBIOTECH today is no longer a startup in the process of validating its business model but rather a company that has opened up a path to a new way of investigating and providing solutions to neglected diseases. This means that mondoBIOTECH is ready to enter into the growth phase through growing and expanding its original core business model but also looking at other areas where the vision and commitment of its founders and staff can provide enormous value; additionally the model is easily applicable to other branches of health-care expanding the horizon of its applications. Ruggero Gramatica has been selected to lead the company, his background in the telecommunications industry and in the rapid growth of successful start up organizations, positions him to bring a complementary set of skills to the organization. Fabio Cavalli, the present CEO and founder of mondoBIOTECH, takes on the role of Executive Chairman and will set the strategy and vision for the company and lead on business development opportunities, working side by side with Ruggero. Both, Fabio and Ruggero will immediately start with their new roles.
