On August 27th, 2009, Mondobiotech hosted an “Open Door Day” in Basel, inviting patients, patient associations, students, doctors, researchers and all interested parties to explore the Rare Disease Exhibit. Educating the public about rare and neglected diseases is a priority for Mondobiotech, and the day was designed to be an opportunity to share experiences and common problems and to learn more about the global crisis of rare and neglected disease.
